Question 1

What is LendingHub?

Accepted Answer

LendingHub is a private lending network where lenders, borrowers, investors, and loan professionals discover each other, build networks, share opportunities, and connect financing needs with capital.

Question 2

Who is LendingHub for?

Accepted Answer

Four participant types:
• Lenders — publish funding opportunities and manage investor and borrower relationships
• Investors — discover investment opportunities shared by lenders in their network
• Borrowers — create loan requests and connect with lenders and investors
• Loan Officers — connect borrowers, lenders, and investors and manage loan activity

Question 3

Is LendingHub a marketplace?

Accepted Answer

No. LendingHub is a private network, not a public marketplace. Deals and loan requests are only visible to connected parties at the appropriate tier level. There is no public browsing of deals.

Question 4

What geographic area does LendingHub serve?

Accepted Answer

LendingHub serves private lending participants across the United States — lenders, borrowers, investors, and loan professionals can discover and connect wherever they do business.

Question 5

What can lenders do on the platform?

Accepted Answer

• Build and manage a private investor network with tier levels (1–3)
• Publish and manage funding opportunities
• Connect with borrowers and loan professionals
• Share opportunities with specific investor tiers
• Track investor interest and submissions on each opportunity
• Notify connected investors when new opportunities are published

Question 6

How does tiering work for lenders?

Accepted Answer

Lenders assign tier levels (1, 2, or 3) to each investor connection. When posting a deal, the lender sets a required tier level — only investors at that tier or higher can see the deal. This lets lenders control which investors see which opportunities.

Question 7

Can lenders see deals posted by other lenders?

Accepted Answer

No. Lenders can only see their own deals. If an investor is connected to multiple lenders, each lender's deals remain separate and private.

Question 8

How are investors notified of new deals?

Accepted Answer

When a lender publishes a deal, connected investors at the qualifying tier level automatically receive an email notification with full deal details and a direct link to view the opportunity.

Question 9

Is there a cost for investors?

Accepted Answer

No. Investors use LendingHub completely free.

Question 10

How do investors see deals?

Accepted Answer

Investors can only see deals from lenders they're connected to AND at the required tier level. Deals are not publicly listed.

Question 11

How does an investor join LendingHub?

Accepted Answer

Investors can sign up independently or accept an invitation from a lender. New investors with no connections see an empty dashboard and are prompted to connect with a lender or borrower.

Question 12

Can an investor be connected to multiple lenders?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Investors can maintain connections with multiple lenders. Each lender's deals remain separate — a lender cannot see deals another lender has shared with the same investor.

Question 13

What happens when an investor is interested in a deal?

Accepted Answer

Investors submit an interest form directly on the deal page, including the investment amount. The lender receives an email notification with the investor's details and submission. The lender can then track all submissions on their deal page with status management.

Question 14

How do borrowers join LendingHub?

Accepted Answer

Borrowers can sign up independently or accept an invitation from a lender or loan officer. New borrowers with no connections can post a loan request and invite known lenders or investors.

Question 15

What can borrowers do on the platform?

Accepted Answer

• Post loan requests with full details (LTV, FICO, exit strategy, property photos, etc.)
• Connect with lenders and investors
• Share loan requests with connected parties at specified tier levels
• Manage relationships with loan officers

Question 16

Can borrowers post loan requests without a lender connection?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Borrowers can post a loan request independently. If they don't have connections, they can use the "Help me find a lender/investor" option, which notifies the platform admin for manual matching assistance.

Question 17

How does the borrower share flow work?

Accepted Answer

Borrowers can share their loan requests with connected investors, lenders, and loan officers via share links. Each share creates the appropriate records so the recipient can view the request in their dashboard.

Question 18

What role do loan officers play?

Accepted Answer

Loan Officers act as intermediaries who can receive loan requests from borrowers and share/referral them to lenders. They track loans through stages: New, In Process, Closed, Declined, and Cancelled.

Question 19

How do loan officers connect with lenders?

Accepted Answer

Loan officers connect with lenders through the Referral Network, which tracks LO-lender connectivity. Lenders can view connected loan officers with their NMLS ID and loan scenario counts.

Question 20

What is the loan officer "Share" flow?

Accepted Answer

When a loan officer shares a loan scenario with a lender, they use a modal that captures deal details and LO notes while stripping all borrower-specific data — ensuring privacy compliance during the referral process.

Question 21

Is my data private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All deals, loan requests, and user data are private and only accessible to connected parties at the appropriate tier levels. LendingHub uses row-level security to enforce data isolation.

Question 22

Who can see my deals?

Accepted Answer

Only the connections you've explicitly approved at the tier level you've set. No public browsing, no marketplace listings, no cross-lender visibility.

Question 23

Is there a public marketplace?

Accepted Answer

No. LendingHub is strictly private. All deal and loan visibility is connection-based and tier-controlled.

Question 24

What are the system requirements?

Accepted Answer

LendingHub is a web-based platform accessible from any modern browser. No downloads or installations required.

Question 25

Can I use LendingHub on mobile?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The platform is responsive and works on mobile browsers.

Question 26

How do I reset my password?

Accepted Answer

Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. You'll receive a password reset email.

Question 27

What if I have multiple roles (e.g., I'm both a lender and an investor)?

Accepted Answer

LendingHub supports role-based dashboards. Your primary role determines your default dashboard, and the system prioritizes roles in this order: Lender → Borrower → Investor → Loan Officer → Onboarding.
